Most activities are free, although a few of our activity providers will charge a small fee. We’ve indicated where this is the case on the schedule in the activity name.
The festival is open to all ages. Activities may have age restrictions specific to it, we’ve indicated that on the activity schedule where applicable as much as possible. Under 4’s go free.
We have activities for all abilities from wheelchair sports and autism support to mindful walks and STEM play. Disabled parking is available for those with a blue badge. Paths and walkways provide access to a large portion of the festival.
If you are bringing a vehicle, a parking ticket will be required. You can purchase one by selecting the parking add-on at the bottom of the tickets selection at energyfestival/e/festival-tickets.
The festival entrance is on Stormontfield rd, which is the Perth Races access rd and not the main entrance to Scone Palace.
Driving – Use postcode PH2 6BB and follow the signs, do not use Scone Palace entrance. If driving, you must buy a parking ticket for each day of parking. Parking can be purchased as an add-on on our tickets page.
Cycling – Save on Parking by cycling to the event, participate in lots of activities using your bike.
Walking – You can come on foot to the Festival. Please be aware of the large amount of traffic that will be using the same entrance.
Bus – You can also use public transport. Bus Nos. 3, 7b, 58, 58a access old scone. Please check local bus information for updates.
Colour run event tickets – these tickets include a full day entry for the festival. Select the ticket for the time slot that you would like. You have access to the festival at any time. Everyone over 4 years old will need a ticket.
Energy Festival ticket add-on – if you’ve already purchase energy festival tickets, you can buy an add-on available on this websites ticket page under festival tickets. Contact us for a preferred time or just turn on the day and book a slot.
Enter on the day – Once in the festival you can book a time slot from the available slots throughout the day, these may be limited. It’s always best to book in advance.
Colour run is suitable for everyone, although there are obstacles these can be routed around. Colour powder will be thrown, so please ensure you indicate to marshalls if you’d prefer not to receive this. Everyone over the age of 4 on course will require a ticket.
Yes! Well behave dogs are welcome at the festival. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Our COVID protection measures mean we prefer card, but we’ll be ready to receive cash payments. Some of our vendors will only accept cash due to the small amounts being charged, so please bring some cash with you.
We have so much to participate in and equally to just watch. If you’d like to join in then active wear is best, that way you’ll be ready to have a go at anything.
Our aim is to make the festival accessible for all and in doing so keep the tickets as low as we can while still providing a great experience. We are a non-profit enterprise run by a team of volunteers, so you can be sure that all of the ticket costs go back into the festival.
We’ve kept the prices the same for all to ensure everyone experiences the festival equally. Under 4’s are free to enable families to enjoy the experience with young ones in tow.
